CPT continues to manage and coordinate the preparation of the design package for the Cogeneration Plant at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, DC. The design package is a joint effort with CPT’s engineering partners: Concord Engineering Group and RMF Engineering. Currently, the focus is on completion of the civil and structural design, which includes the use of helical piles to support the Solar Turbines gas turbine, Rentech heat recovery steam generator, and a precast concrete electrical equipment building to be supplied by Smith-Midland.
