Martin Hieronymi– Electrical Engineer

Martin earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management from The New School of Research in Malta, NY. He then went on to join the U.S. Navy and trained in theory and operation of nuclear power, including algebra, trigonometry, geometry, physics, thermodynamics, vectors, and energy. Martin also gained valuable experience as a Submarine Force Quality Assurance Inspector, Navy Leadership Development, Gauge Calibration, and Nuclear Power Plant Welding.

Martin spent the last 23 years as an Electrical Project Manager at Brookfield Renewable Power. During Martin’s 10 years in the Navy, he was recognized for superior performance during initial Reactor plant startup and testing of Engine room equipment and awarded the Navy Achievement Award. Martin supervised over 30 personnel in plant operations and extensive troubleshooting / repairs to vital pieces of reactor safety related mechanical and electrical equipment.

Now, Martin is using his experience at Cogen Power Technologies to ensure that that the very complex CHP electrical equipment, systems, and protection are implemented to meet the design intent and within the projected schedule.
